Divine Knights of Bastok

Hey everyone!

If you've popped into the shell at all tonight, you may have seen a message to see me about getting a new pearl. This is true.

DKOB is moving to DKofBastok

I really tried everything i could to get the name as close to the same as possible.

Why is this happening?

Well Burn and Bry can elaborate if they wish, but basically they have joined an Endgame HNM Shell. It's pretty involved and a lot of the time they are going to have to be equiped in it when they are online. Both are still members of DKOB and are still Sackholders.

I just would like everyone to be aware that the shell is staying the same. I don't have any current plans on making any drastic changes or anything. I think our shell has been fantastic and the ppl that are part of it make it that way. So my goal is to try and get everyone that uses DKOB a new pearl.

How will the transition work?

1. DKOB will remain in tact for a few weeks or longer if I think needed. The /lsmes will remain the same for the most part. The message will direct ppl to /tell a Sackholder for a new pearl.

2. DKofBastok is active. Once you have your pearl, you may call it home again. You may discard your DKOB pearl or keep it if u wish. I recommend keeping it for a short time, so you can return to it to see if any of your friends are still in the old shell.

3. After a few weeks it will be determined to /breaklinkshell. At that time you will not be able to use DKOB and should discard your pearl. Unless u want to keep it under your pillow next to your relic weapon. >.>

SACKHOLDERS:

I want all Sackholders to take the transition at full stride as well. Please bounce back and forth to check for old members. Please make it a high priority to get DKOB members a new pearl if u see they don't have one. I don't expect you to drop an event, but maybe shoot them a /tell or something. I really do not want to lose people to another shell, just because they came onto an empty one. As with our normal core group of people, we have several that play off and on throughout a week or month.

Good work posting this info Jais... Yes, Bry and myself got into an HNM ls called Resu... It's probably the final thing we do to advance with our characters in the game... I've gotten agabajillion /tells saying that we are leaving DKOB and what not... Here to say on the record that is sooo far from the truth... We're still definatlly in and a big part of DKOB...

Make sure Jais you write down when we make the new pearl, so we can anniversary it, haha... I think it was on Bry's b-day...

I am really happy that Jais decided to take the reigns for DKOB/DKofBastok... We developed some pretty hax people and some solid friendships... I will have to admit though, Bry and I lead DKOB and HOLYKNIGHTSofBASTOK since 2006, and it's nice to be able to kinda retire from those duties (OMG, i'll never retire from, DOODIES!!!), and have Jaisawn flex his smexy leadership muscles, and keep this epic ls strong...

you're retirement as shell holder of DKOB is understandable...but if you ever...EVER think about retiring DOODIES...I'll cut joo :p

thanks haxor, ... my word, i'd never retire DOODIES, it's too epic to retire, ... it was so funny though, when we were doing einherjar and killing lambton worm, they got so pissed for me using the uber large STUUUUN macro, and hex got pissed when i said bry was sponsored by www.meatspin.com, lololol... no wonder's amn comedic creativity was cramped in res, lolol

Thanks DB!!! Lololol... I'm glad that you'll still stick around DB, :p... I mean, those Trotter's you got on have property of DKOB on em, :p... We do endgame stuff for like anyone really... Usually we kill ridiculous hard HNM's, and depending on what NM it is, we either take the items and put it into an ls bank, or someone gets em... Only HNM's that Bry and I did was Sandworm... One Sandworm lead to Lambton Worm (drops Ancient Torque and Oily Trousers), and the other one took us to Serket (Drops White Tathlum and Antares Harness)... But we also kill Adamantoise/Aspidochelone, Fafnir/Nidhogg, and Behemoth/King Behemoth, and off those three Kings, you can get decent drops on any job really off all of those guys so... Meatspin isn't THAAAAAAAT bad, and 2girls1cup is still pretty softcore in my opinion, haha!!
