just want to post something about nm's for two reasons here: 1) be nice to have a spot for us to schedule nm fights, and 2) i am currently hunting quu domi the gallant atm and i need something to past the hour away since i killed him (didn't get the boots obviously). currently i am 0/2 on him and surprisingly he isn't camped as highly tonight. must be because its a sunday and people work tomorrow (just a guess).

well, i'm on a NM hunt myself and the drop rate might actually be worse than like ochimusha kote or sarutobi kyahan at this point, lol... i'm 0/7 on shaman's cloak from Cenutrio X-I in Quicksand Caves. it's definatly a fairly easy NM to kill, other than the fact i got murdered by a quake from the NM's PH, i was like, whoot?!?! but bry and i even beat him to death with warp cudgels, lol, still no drop... 0/7 on the cloak and even 0/7 on stonega II for crying out loud, LOL... if ever anyone wants to come along for shits and giggles, just lemme know, :p

going to have to ditch this idea, but heck, i'll still go and do this quest if people possibly still need it.

as of last week i am putting pup on hold and at the same time almost putting ffxi on standby since nothing much is going on lately in the LS (ie. no big events, no needed assistance, no major wants/needs, and not enough help). i'll stop in now and then to check in on people or maybe to fill in when i am needed, but otherwise, i'm busy playing elder scrolls IV: oblivion all over again (trust me, it wont be long till i get bored of that game since it's single-player).

hope you guys keep posting/replying, i much rather check the updates through here so i know to plan things to log on and help. good luck and stay diligent ^^

Kav was lucky enough to see Serket die in Garlaige, and the max ToD was 9 PM EST time... Meaning window opens at 6 PM EST today... Whoever wants the ring, needs to get ToD again, considering Bry and I have Dynamis tonight at 8ish... It'd be nice to keep the ToD on this rascal

Yeah, we lost ToD for sure sadly... But anytime someone wants a ring, i'll grab the ToD for it and we'll get Bry, Kat, myself, and maybe Alaistair on RDM to pwn it

Asuran Fists

Postby Kataklysm on Sat Oct 18, 2008 11:42 am

Next on the NM most wanted list would have to be between Jaisawn's WSNM and AF NM fight. Here is a video of what is to expect with the WSNM: Bodach and what to expect with the NM for the Temple Hose:
Huu Xalmo the Savage. Both of these videos were kind picked to show the least amount of people taken to defeat both. WSNM took three people and the Temple Hose technically took two but was mostly done with one. Both have massive amounts of HP so make sure to prep for that (take a smokebreak, wc, and/or pack some snacks/drinks). Looking forward to this, hoping to do this, this weekend.

Just wanted to say thanks on both of these NM's. The evening was almost a complete success with getting Pitts his WSNM complete. Round 2 won't fail.
Kataklysm, Pitts, Tiffytazzy, Kavasha, and Edmund, thank you for taking time to knock out these mobs. I owe ya. :D

Posted some pics of the evening over in the in-game section. Not the best, they were spur of the moment.

I think it's been a while since the ls camped an NM.
hoping to get this NM this weekend. we have the firepower to bring this guy down (and hopefully enough hax to get the dorp!)
off with his head!

I'm game! A 2-4 hour pop is definitely not a bad one to camp. Nice scyth too! Shouldn't need to many more people either, so the more people just means more easier.

Nice choice.
